JISD 1601 Automotive Parts Test Method--Electromagnetic Shaker For Vibration Test
Auto parts need to go through a series of environmental reliability tests such as temperature, humidity, salt spray corrosion, shock, vibration, etc. Among many tests, vibration test is the most difficult, JIS D 1601 standard aims to provide a common test method and standard for the automotive industry to evaluate the vibration environment faced by parts in actual use. The standard covers various types of vibration testing, including excited vibration, free vibration and forced vibration, and provides the corresponding test conditions and measurement parameters. By complying with JIS D 1601, automotive manufacturers can better understand the vibration characteristics of components, thereby optimizing designs and improving the quality of products.
In the resonance point detection test, according to the types of corresponding parts, the distinguished vibration frequency range is selected from Table 1, and the resonant vibration frequency of the parts is obtained by continuously increasing and decreasing in the same proportion.
Vibration function test method
The frequency of vibration shall be within the same vibration range as that of Table 1 and the function of parts shall be tested at the vibration acceleration of the stage selected from Table 2. However, when deemed necessary, the vibration acceleration may be agreed upon between the parties concerned with delivery.
JOEO's Environmental Test division can perform all vibration test services, including aerospace, defense, battery, automotive, electronic components and other industries, and JOEO electromagnetic shaker can apply up to 12,000 pounds of force at any frequency from 5 to 2,000Hz. By combining the electromagnetic shaker with the AGREE environment room, we can also accommodate additional test customizations by introducing temperature variations.
Depending on the relevant test specifications, sinusoidal, random or sinusoidal plus random vibration schemes can be used. Please contact us today at Kris@alitesting.com or submit an application on this page
Type of test
Resonance frequency detection test
This test is designed to determine the resonance frequency of each part
Vibration endurance test
This test is designed to determine the durability of each part against the vibration of a constant frequency.
Sweep vibration endurance test
This test is designed to determine the durability of each part against vibration, the frequency of which is increased and decreased continuously at a constant rate.
Vibration function test
This test is designed to check the function of each part under vibrational conditions.
