IEC 60068 Salt Fog Chamber of Cyclic Corrosion Salt Spray Chamber

IEC 60068 Salt Fog Chamber of Cyclic Corrosion Salt Spray Chamber

JOEO Cyclic corrosion salt spray chamber,salt spray chamber is tested the corrosion resistance capacity of products, which stay in the intense change environment, such as automobile parts, aviation equipment, photographic equipment, building materials, electricity, electrical and electronic systems.

Meet  Standard
IEC salt testing machine standards mainly include
IEC salt spray testing according to the standard IEC 60068-2-11:1981 "Environmental testing of electrical and electronic products - Part 2: Test methods Test Ka: salt spray test methods"
IEC 60068-2-52:2017 Environmental tests - Part 2: Test methods - Test Kb: salt spray, alternating (sodium chloride) solutions

Description

Which products need to be tested for IEC salt spray corrosion chamber?
1. Metals and their alloys;
2. Metal covering layer;
3. Organic covering layer;
4. Anodized film.

IEC60068-2-11 is a general salt spray test method, suitable for various types of products;
IEC60068-2-52 is a salt spray test method specifically for electrical connectors, which is used to evaluate the performance of connectors in salt spray environments.

When conducting IEC salt spray testing, it is necessary to strictly follow the test conditions and procedures specified in the standard.
1.You need to prepare the brine solution and adjust its concentration and PH to meet the standard requirements.
2. In the salt spray test equipment, the product is placed in the salt spray corrosion chamber, the salt spray environment is generated through the spray system, and the product is exposed for a long time. During the test process, the surface state of the product needs to be observed regularly, and the degree and time of corrosion are recorded to evaluate the corrosion resistance of the product.

Structure

Cyclic Corrosion Salt Spray Chamber adopts 5mm or 8mm imported gray and white impact resistant P.V.C board, with high temperature resistance up to 85℃ and corrosion resistance.
Support frame: ¢ 10MM fiberglass rod, corrosion resistant. The steel V-frame and the fiber rod angle are placed to ensure the specimen is inclined at 15-30 degrees.
Pressure barrel is welded seamlessly with 2.0mm SUS304 stainless steel plate

(1) The neutral salt spray test (NSS test) is the earliest and most widely used accelerated corrosion test method. It uses 5% sodium chloride salt water solution, and the PH value of the solution is adjusted to a neutral range (6.5 ~ 7.2) as a spray solution. The test temperature is 35℃, and the sedimentation rate of salt spray is required to be 1~2mL/80cm/h.

(2) Acetic acid salt spray test (ASS test) is developed on the basis of neutral salt spray test. It is to add some glacial acetic acid to the 5% sodium chloride solution, the pH value of the solution is reduced to about 3, the solution becomes acidic, and the salt mist formed finally becomes acidic from neutral salt mist. Its corrosion rate is about 3 times faster than the NSS test.

(3) The copper salt accelerated acetate spray test (CASS test) is a rapid salt spray corrosion test recently developed. The test temperature is 50℃. A small amount of copper salt-copper chloride is added to the salt solution to strongly induce corrosion. Its corrosion rate is about 8 times that of the NSS test.
